HOW Live Design Conference

I got a chance to attend the HOW Live Design Conference in Boston this year through my job. I have never been to a conference before and I was very excited to get this opportunity. My colleagues and I stayed in Boston for the week of the conference. I learned things from the use of typography to making my own brand, aka my identity. It was so inspiring, to say the least. I heard speakers from around the world come and speak about their passions, their work, their livelihoods. It was a dream come true, something to cross off of my bucket list. Needless to say, I had an awesome time and I hope to go to another one someday soon.

While at Boston, we stayed at Omni Parkerhouse Hotel...which I found out later, is a haunted hotel! I'm a pretty big scaredy-cat, so I'm so glad that I didn't know about this beforehand. I could have sworn I saw something in my room twice! But, it was a beautiful hotel and my stay was lovely. And, you can't go to Boston without having their famous Boston Creme Pie, which this specific hotel is known for.

When I go on trips, I like to taste the foods the area has to offer. When in Boston, I visited a place called Love, Art, Sushi, among other places, but this was one of the best rice bowls I have ever had. It did not disappoint. We also went to Cape Cod and ate at Captain Parker's. I had their clam chowder and it was delicious! I wish I could have more.

At the end of the trip, we visited Cape Cod and sat by the water for a bit. It was a little cold, but very peaceful.

What a great trip and an awesome conference! I had a great time and learned so much.

Birthdays Galore

Oh how I love birthdays! I've designed so many birthday invitations these many years. I love, love, love them! They are so much fun to design. I especially love themed birthdays. Ever since having kids of my own, I wanted to give them the best looking birthday invitations. Here are a few.
